2011 Cal Poly Design Build Competition. Design, construct, transport, build on site, and live within structure for the two nights of cempetition. The inspiration of the compeition was communal portals, allowing each structure to have the ability to connect to one’s neighbor. Our design was inspired by Renzo piano’s octogonal shape accordian for its flexibility and affordability.
